Firefox Club Tasks and Individual Tasks

Firefox Club Tasks:

These tasks will help you in becoming organized and conveniently start a Firefox Club at your institute:

1. Create a Facebook Page of your Firefox Club: facebook.com/___________________
   • Use this page to share about your Firefox Club’s updates, news, activities, events and to highlight your club’s FSAs’ achievements in the FSA program

2. Decide & Create an official Hashtag of your Firefox Club: #________________

• Always use your club’s hashtag #_________________ and #FirefoxStudents hashtag to share about your individual and your Firefox Club’s contributions, updates, news, activities, events, etc.

3. Create a Closed Facebook Group of your Firefox Club: facebook.com/groups/________

• This group is only for FSAs from your university and your Firefox Club.
• Add only the FSAs in this group who have:
  • Joined the FSA program by filling out & submitting the Signup form on the FSA website,
  • Requested to Join the Official Firefox Student Ambassadors Facebook Group,
  • Filled & Submitted your Club’s Registration Form (explained in the next step)
• You can use this group to share and plan different FSA activities & events, etc.

4. Create a Google Form & Sheet, to keep track of all FSAs from your university and want to join your Firefox Club. You can ask the following questions/fields in the form:

• Name:
• Degree Program:
• Department:
• Semester:
• Email:
• Facebook:
• Contact Number:

5. Decide Club Leadership Roles/Positions for the club’s FSAs to form the Core Team /Club Executive Board
6. Social Media Lead
7. Marketing Lead
8. Publicity Lead
9. Developer Relations Lead
10. Web Education Lead
11. Membership Lead

Individual Tasks:

These tasks will help you in grooming yourself to become an active FSA:

• Educate yourself about the FSA program
  • Learn details about the different aspects of the FSA program by going through the comprehensive FSA Program Guide

• Complete the FSA Beginner’s Guide and Apply for the FSA Beginner Badge
  • Fulfill all requirements of the FSA Beginner Badge and then Apply for the FSA Beginner Badge

• Participate in the FSA program’s current Campaign Challenge

• Become FSA Trainee
  • Fulfill all requirements of the FSA Trainee Badge and then Apply for the FSA Trainee Badge

• Nominate an FSA Trainee to become the New Club Lead of your Firefox Club
  • The elected-FSA will undergo the Club Lead Training (CLT) in order to become the Club Lead.
